Rather than become a “general practitioner,” I chose early on in my practice to focus on immigration law. This focus allows me to stay on top of changing laws and practices in immigration law, to accumulate an intimate knowledge of the detailed rules and regulations, and to better advise my clients and answer their questions. I truly enjoy bringing (and keeping) families together, overcoming complicated immigration challenges through waivers and legal strategy, and guiding clients through the naturalization process. I have also walked through this process with my own family. So I understand the stress and uncertainty my clients feel as they begin the process and the frustration they experience when roadblocks are encountered.
